Relaciones Internacionales

In its zeal for promoting an education of quality, the European University Miguel de Cervantes projects its action within an international framework so that their students, teaching and research body and staff could take part in international experiences and projects, as well as coexist in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment. The Vice-Rectorate of Research and International Affairs has developed since 2004, when the International Office was created, among others, the following tasks:

  • Actions directed to the improvement of the international projection of the European University Miguel de Cervantes.

  • International mobility programmes, stimulating the participation of students, faculty and staff of our University.

  • Organization of the mobility of students, faculty and staff of the European University Miguel de Cervantes who take part in the mobility programmes as well as the procedures dealing with the announcements of scholarships for teacher and student exchanges abroad.

  • Establishment, processing and renewal of bilateral agreements with international institutions of higher education that will make possible the execution of activities contemplated in the different Programs, specially within the framework of the PAP (European programme of learning along the life).

  • Welcome and accreditation of students, faculty and staff of foreign Universities who stay at the UEMC.

  • Processing and coordination of projects and consultancies presented in the frame of International Programs.

  • Active taking part in the main networks of universities, mainly of Europe.

  • Advising to the University Community on the preparation of diverse international activities.

The International Office (IO) constitutes the technical support which makes possible that any member of the UEMC (faculty, students and staff) could initiate and be involved in international actions. In addition, it is opened for any institution to establish collaboration links.
